NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 1, Township of Burlington, County of Burlington, State of New Jersey, shall ask the legal voters of said Fire District on Saturday, February 15, 2025, between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., or longer if necessary, to approve or disapprove the proposed 2025 Budget.
Said voting shall take place at the District Headquarters, 1601 Burlington By-Pass, Burlington, New Jersey. Fire District No. 1 is comprised of all Election Districts within the Township of Burlington.
The legal voters of said Fire District shall also be asked to elect two (2) Commissioners, each for a three (3) year term, to serve on the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 1. The closing date for the filing of a Petition of Nomination with the Clerk of the Board relative to being a candidate for said three (3) year terms shall be on Friday, January 17, 2025. Nominating Petitions may be obtained at the District Headquarters, 1601 Burlington By-Pass, Burlington, New Jersey, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., (609) 239-5849, or via email at sfazekas@btfd.org.
