NOTICE OF BUDGET INTRO MEETING 12/11/2025
TOWNSHIP OF BURLINGTON
NOTICE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 1, Township of Burlington, County of Burlington, State of New Jersey, shall, at its workshop session meeting scheduled for Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at Beverly Road Fire Company No. 2, 1001 Beverly Road, Burlington, New Jersey, introduce the proposed annual District budget for fiscal year commencing January 1, 2026, and ending December 31, 2026. At said time and place, the Board shall move to approve said budget and establish the date, time and place for the holding of a public hearing upon the approved fiscal year 2026 budget. The proposed action of the Board as set forth above and the notice thereof is being given pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:14-78.1.
Formal action may be taken.

During the October 22, 2025 Board of Fire Commissioners meeting, Commissioner Scully sworn in three new members to the Burlington Township Fire Department. Congratulations to Christopher Dillon as career firefighter, Robert Wieland III as career firefighter, and Kayla Good as new member.
Fire Prevention Open House – 10/10/2025 from 7pm – 9pm
Chief Craig Leshner Jr., Lt. David Counard and Burlington City Firefighters Matthew Voza & Nathan Pogorzelski received the Medal of Valor Award during the N.J. State Fire Chiefs meeting on September 11, 2025. The firefighters received this prestigious award for rescuing a child during a house fire on March 31, 2024. Congratulations!!
